MIAMI: The Lobster, Peanut Butter and Jelly...
I CANNOT believe I missed this one when I was in Miami last week. This sandwich sounds strange and yummy in equal measure so for those of us not in south Florida, here is the recipe (compliments of Chef Dewey LoSasso of the FORGE - where this supposed delicacy was invented!)
If anyone tries this out - let me know. better yet - how about you invite me over? ;)

SAO PAULO is often called the Manhattan of South America, however it is a place that is so ugly, so crazy, so violent that it’s creatives are forced, as an interviewee in this video states: “to find beauty where is doesn’t exist.”

a bookclub I can get into
has been opened by OHWOW in the basement of a landmark brownstone in Waverly Place. I love compact shops and this 150 sq foot “pocket shop” is about as compact as it comes.

Have you ever heard of Montenegro?
I didn’t think so (however if you have - cool points to you!). Anyhow, Amanresorts is a busy hotel group, economy be damned, and has just recently launched their latest chic resort - this time on the island of SVETI STEFAN. Looks like a MUST VISIT in my books, if only for the looks you will get from people when you tell them you visited Montenegro!

Atom Egoyan’s latest flick just hit DVD and I checked it out. Verdict?

the BAD
I didn’t buy a second of it.
the UGLY
