Additionally, more than 50% of respondents said they had only made up their minds in the last few days. As previously noted, Mitt Romney remains the national frontrunner for the time being, but tonight’s results may have a impact on his future standing. Voters in South Carolina, much like their counterparts in Iowa and New Hampshire, chose “electability” as their candidate’s most important quality.
