This Fashion Week, we’re proud to have his latest presentation at Hudson. What you may not know about Hyden is that his career didn’t start in fashion. Rather, winning the grand prize on Fear Factor allowed him to follow his dreams of becoming a fashion designer. In that spirit, we asked Hyden to tell us what are his ‘6 Fashion Trends to Fear’. And well, we couldn’t agree more: 1. Please do not wear bowling inspired shirts unless you’re in a bowling alley and playing in a league. 2. Tattoo t-shirts. I’ve been saying how much I despise this trend all along, but this is still around and people are still buying this stuff. And please, don’t buy that fragrance, either 3. I almost got this for my mom, but sketcher shape ups. If you’re under 50, and have a pair…I mean, come on, seriously? 4. Heritage, wood-chopping, bearded, hipster with red wings. Unless you’re in construction, please don’t rock the redwings. I just want this to go away like yesterday. 5. Sagging skinny jeans when they have a belt on. Dude, the belt is so you don’t sag! I don’t need to be staring at your hanes-her-way when I’m walking out of the subway. And please get rid of those 80’s jolly rancher colored sneakers on your feet. 6. Lady Gaga anything and everything. She’s a performer and you’re not. Please don’t rock that and thing you got swagga. Especially 18” stilettos that make you taller than me. gives me an effin complex about my height.
