Soho House Toronto

is the latest entry in the Soho’s creative class private club “empire”. It opened just barely by the skin of the teeth on TIFF’s opening night (furniture was being moved in 10 mins prior to party start) but it is open. Decidedly less ambitious than their houses in NYC, Miami (my fav), L.A and London (no pool, no hotel rooms, worst - no Cowshed Spa!!!!!) it took over a historic 3 story next to the equally new Shangri-La Hotel. I’m on the fence about the design. You buying a membership?
